there are different types of fungus.
sac- fungi that produces spores in special pods or sac like structures called asci (singular ASCUS)
club- fungi that produces spores on microscopic, club-like structures called basidia (singular BASIDIUM)
they produce Asexual- bud formation in yeasts budding or binary fission.

fungi are made of filamentous tubes called hyphae.
Mycelium is the "body" of the fungus.
Septa acts as STRUCTURAL SUPPORTS the addition of plate-like cross-walls to what is essentaily a long tube-like structure (HYPHAE) will help stabilize it.
FUNGUS
- can give us a source of food; mushrooms.
-yeast fungus is used to make beer.
-they eat trash and turn it into soil.
